We will be installing several high tunnel greenhouses and also offering classes on high tunnels. Classes will range from how to obtain grant funding through the NRCS EQIP program, to marketing strategies in urban agriculture, to hands-on learning experience. There will be nine classes taught in 4 monthly sessions January 27, February 17, March 17, and April 14 with a morning (10-12) and afternoon (12-2) class and lunch break in the middle. Presentations are being made in collaboration with the NRCS and U of A Extension Office. Topics will be announced soon. Take away goals include learning how to:

Register for an FSA Farm ID Number
Apply for an NRCS EQIP grant
Apply for USDA Organic Certification and/or
Apply for CNG (Certified Naturally Grown)
Develop a Food Safety Plan
Develop a Farm Business Plan
Plan, construct, and manage a high tunnel
Market and sell produce that you grow
